How to Create Strawberry Shortcake Cookies

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 325°F. Prepare 2 baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.

Step 2: In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set this mixture aside.
Step 3: In your stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the butter, sugar, and brown sugar together until they become light and fluffy, approximately 2-3 minutes.


Step 4: Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until everything is well combined.
Step 5: Incorporate the flour mixture into the wet ingredients. Stir gently just until the dough comes together; avoid overmixing to prevent dense cookies.
